Attorney John McCreary will be co-presenting at the Allegheny County Bar Association’s CLE, “Recognizing Partner Violence and the Potential for Workplace Violence.”  It’s a critical topic: partner violence. This seminar will focus on what attorneys should know about partner violence and employees in the workplace. Specific topics to be covered include:

• Increasing awareness of partner violence among coworkers and employees
• How employers can support victims and survivors
• Protection From Abuse orders
• ALICE drills for active shooters
• The OSHA general duty clause and the employer’s responsibility to provide a safe workplace
